Job Description
Applications will be accepted for the position of the PreK / K Home Visits Coordinator in the Westfield Public School District. This program is scheduled to begin July 1, 2023 and end June 30, 2024. This is a stipend position and hours are to be done outside of the regular school day.
Starting Date: July 1, 2025
Ending Date: June 30, 2026
Training meeting: TBD
FUNDING: Rate of Pay: $46.65 per hour not to exceed five hours per week exclusive of the week including the mandated training.

REPORTS TO: Director of Curriculum and Instruction
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the Home Visits Program for the six elementary schools.
Support the implementation of the program at each site.
Supervise and conduct Home Visits.
Maintain student Home Visits records, data, and master schedule.
Maintain records and plan/coordinate professional learning communities.
Address any student/family issues that arise from Home Visits.
Create teacher schedules.
Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and data.
Coordinate special events and staff/family training and workshops.
Collect time cards.
Support staff, students, and families to create a positive learning climate and community.
Attend all training sessions.
Report progress on Home Visit Program to Director of Curriculum and Instruction and Building Administrators

Job Requirements
- QUALIFICATIONS:
Massachusetts Massachusetts elementary teacher or counselor certification
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Previous experience in facilitating summer and/or home visit programs is preferred
Bachelor degree preferred.
Citizenship, residency or work visa required - High School/Trade School degree preferred.
