Job Description
Bellows Falls Union High School is seeking a part-time or full-time math teacher to join our community and dynamic math department. This position includes teaching several high school classes and the potential to support intervention needs. Teaching responsibilities will vary though will likely include Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II and / or Financial Literacy. Intervention support, where needed, will focus on providing individual and small group instruction based on student need and work in collaboration with others in the department. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and instructional practices and demonstrated experience working with neurodiverse learners.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred) and has a current Vermont Teaching License with appropriate endorsement. Prior experience in teaching is preferred, particularly at the secondary level.
